Accountant

Our client, a leading financial services firm in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on corporate accounting role focused on management company accounting, financial reporting, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in management company accounting, experience in fast-paced environments, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Responsibilities Include:Execute day-to-day corporate accounting operations, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesAssist with the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAPSupport external audits and coordinate with auditors as neededEnsure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverablesPartner with internal teams on ad hoc projects and process improvementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not requiredMinimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services (asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or similar)Strong management company / corporate accounting backgroundSolid understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworksAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail
