Line TechnicianLocation: Concord, NCEmployment Type: 12-month contract (possibility of extension or conversion)Pay Range: $40-45/hrShift: 2-2-3 rotating schedule, 12-hour shifts (day shift and night shift openings)Industry: Pharmacutical ManufacturingAbout the JobThe Line Technician supports parenteral manufacturing operations by setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining pre-filled syringe and isolator equipment. This hands-on role partners with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance, ensure GMP compliance, and minimize downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow safety and quality requirements; comply with GMP standards.Set up equipment, support changeovers, and provide on-the-floor operational support.Troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.Perform preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, and mechanical repairs on filling/isolator systems.Improve uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Document maintenance work and communicate status to cross-functional partners.Prioritize work independently and assist with other tasks as needed.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing maintenance.Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Preferred QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude; proficient with hand tools and basic troubleshooting.Experience with high-speed automated equipment (syringe/vial filling and isolator technology preferred).Knowledge of GMP/FDA-regulated manufacturing and work in classified/controlled environments.Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance documentation practices.Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and consistent with PPE and site procedures.Effective communicator and team partner with a customer-service mindset.Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field (preferred).Additional InformationFlexibility to work overtime or adjust schedule based on production needs.After initial Monday-Friday training, transition to a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule.Available to respond to off-hour emergencies as needed.Willing to travel for training or professional development.Physical & Work RequirementsAbility to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 scheduleAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)Ability to lift up to 35 poundsBrooksource provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.Benefits & Perks:Brooksource offers competitive medical, dental, vision, Health Savings Account, Dependent Care FSA, and supplemental coverage with plans that can fit each employee's needs.
