Construction Specialist III (Contractor)Locations: Multiple ( PA, CO, OH, CA, TX AND MN )Work Environment: Field-based (90% onsite), flexible schedule including nights/weekendsWe are seeking a Construction Specialist III- Field-based telecom construction lead to support field execution of network infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality, safety compliance, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee overhead and underground construction activities, including:Placement of hardline/coax, strand, and pole transfersJoint trench construction and utility coordinationEnsure safe operation of construction vehicles and equipmentMaintain accurate records for:Project timelines and milestonesProduction logs, material usage, and labor costsConduct field inspections and enforce safety complianceCoordinate daily activities with contractors, technicians, and internal teamsAct as the primary field interface between contractors and network operationsMonitor crew performance against project goals and quality standardsHandle customer requests, issues, and escalationsGenerate reports on construction progress, materials, and expendituresEnsure all work meets company, local, state, and federal regulationsAdditional ResponsibilitiesUpdate and maintain job tracking systems (JT/Polaris) for documentation and path verificationEnsure power systems are installed and operational prior to cutoverOversee end-to-end quality of network builds (NGAN projects)Support leadership with project coordination and executionRequired Skills & QualificationsExperience in telecom construction (fiber/coax/NGAN preferred)Strong understanding of overhead and underground infrastructureExperience managing field crews and contractorsKnowledge of safety standards and compliance requirementsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and mapsStrong coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skillsWork Requirements90% field-based roleAbility to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtimeRegular and reliable attendance requiredWhat you didn't know about us:Competitive salaryHealth, Dental and Vision BenefitsShort/Long Term Disability and Critical Care/Illness ProtectionLife Insurance and Retirement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramWith this position, you will get the opportunity to work with our game changing clients and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!We are Connectors.
