Grind Machinist $24-$30/hr DOE plus shift differential!This position is a direct hire opportunity!Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Grind Machinist for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $24-$30/hr DOE plus shift differential! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!Responsibilities:The primary objective of this role is to support the department in meeting its operational goals and performance targets. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of NC/CNC grinding equipment to meet customer requirements for quality and on-time delivery. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Operate surface and creep feed grinding machines, along with other equipment as needed, to produce accurate parts in accordance with process specifications. This may involve running multiple machines simultaneously.Set up assigned equipment correctly and efficiently to support production requirements.Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), following documented procedures.Record production data and communicate relevant information using designated software systems.Perform routine operator-level maintenance on equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve machine or tooling issues as they arise.Complete deburring and rework on in-process parts when necessary.Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.Follow all established safety guidelines and protocols.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Location: Grand Rapids, MISchedule/Shift Details: Mon-Thurs, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AMOvertime as neededQualifications:At least one year of relevant experience operating cylindrical, surface, or creep feed grinding equipment in a production environment.Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges (such as pin, thread, indicator, and height), optical comparators, and CMM equipment.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows and standard office software.Ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations.Eligibility to handle controlled materials and data in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Visual capability meeting applicable industry standards.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.Capability to stand for the majority of the work shift (approximately 95%).Regular movement involving reaching, bending, twisting, and grasping to handle tools, materials, and equipment.Benefits:MedicalDentalVisionPTO
