About the Role:The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations within the wholesale trade industry, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position is responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing workflow processes, and maintaining a safe and organized environment to meet company standards and customer expectations. The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate inventory control, monitor stock levels, and implement best practices to minimize errors and delays. They will also collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to support seamless supply chain operations. Ultimately, this role ensures that warehouse activities contribute to the overall operational success and profitability of the organization.Shift: 10 AM - 6:30 PM (or until orders are complete) Overtime as neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, inventory reports, and operational data.Must be able to stand, push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more.At least 2 years previous experience operating PIV equipment.Preferred Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Experience working in the wholesale trade industry or a similar fast-paced distribution environment.Proficiency with advanced warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Certification in forklift operation or other relevant warehouse equipment.Demonstrated leadership training or professional development in team management.Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus but not a required skill.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain high productivity and morale.Oversee the receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Manage inventory control processes, including regular stock audits, discrepancy resolution, and reporting to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize shipping schedules and reduce delivery times.Implement and enforce health and safety standards to maintain a secure working environment for all warehouse personnel.Comfortable working in multiple areas of the warehouse to support changing workload demand.Skills:The Warehouse Supervisor utilizes strong organizational and leadership skills daily to coordinate team activities and ensure operational efficiency. Analytical skills are essential for monitoring inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Communication skills are critical for liaising with internal departments and external partners to facilitate smooth logistics and supply chain processes. Proficiency with warehouse management systems and technology enables accurate tracking and reporting of stock movements.
