Position Summary:The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively managing the full sales cycle through in person meetings, phone and email outreach. This role focuses on expanding market share, developing new business and strengthening existing customer relationships. Success in this position requires a proactive, results driven approach, and consistent achievement of sales goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Execute a proactive sales strategy focused on revenue growth and competitive margin managementApply a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and uncover new opportunitiesSchedule and lead in-person meetings to strengthen partnerships and expand accountsPresent and demonstrate products and services effectivelyCommunicate proactively with customers through calls, email, and in-person interactionsGrow existing accounts through effective upselling, cross-selling, and promotion of marketing initiativesResolve customer issues quickly and effectively to maintain satisfaction and long-term loyaltyConsistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targetsPrepare quotes, enter orders, and maintain accurate customer data within the CRM systemDrive business growth by prospecting, cold calling, and developing new customer relationshipsMaintain a strong understanding of market positioning to effectively compete and win businessManage and track orders, including follow-up on backorders and order status updatesCollaborate cross-functionally to support team goals and deliver a seamless customer experienceRepresent Jendco professionally at all times, reinforcing company values and brand reputationEducation and Experience2+ years outside B2B sales experience (industrial preferred)Experience in small to mid-size business environmentsHigh school diploma (or equivalent) and valid driver's licenseAssociate's degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferredSkills and QualificationsStrong communication (written and verbal)Excellent time management and self-motivationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented with a positive, professional attitudeAdaptable; able to work effectively with diverse personalitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceExperience with CRM systems (NetSuite preferred)Strong typing and general computer skillsPhysical Requirements:The following physical activities described are a representation of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
