Cloud Platform Engineer (GCP + Azure | Kubernetes | GenAI)Location: Charlotte, NC (Brevard Office)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, multi-cloud platforms across GCP and Azure. This role focuses on enabling modern cloud-native architectures, platform engineering practices, and supporting GenAI/LLM workloads including RAG-based systemsYou will work closely with platform teams, data scientists, and application developers to deliver a robust internal developer platform with strong governance, automation, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build enterprise-grade cloud platforms across GCP and AzureDevelop and maintain Terraform-based reusable infrastructure modulesArchitect and implement landing zones, governance frameworks, and guardrailsEnable hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity (VPN, VPC/VNet peering, private endpoints)Manage and optimize Kubernetes platforms (GKE and OpenShift/OCP)Build and enhance Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) for self-service infrastructureImplement SRE practices, defining SLOs/SLIs and improving system reliabilityEstablish observability frameworks (monitoring, logging, tracing)Ensure security and secrets management using HashiCorp Vault and IAMSupport GenAI/LLM workloads, including RAG architectures and inference servicesEnable and maintain MLOps / LLMOps pipelines for model lifecycle managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new AI/ML servicesRequired SkillsHands-on experience with GCP and Azure (multi-cloud environments)Strong expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)Deep knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid connectivityExperience designing Landing Zones & Cloud Governance frameworksProficiency in Kubernetes (GKE) and OpenShift (OCP)Experience in Platform Engineering / Internal Developer PlatformsStrong understanding of SRE principles (SLOs, SLIs)Experience with observability toolsProficient in Python for automationExperience with HashiCorp Vault or secrets management systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with GenAI platforms and Large Language Models (LLMs)Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecturesExperience building MLOps / LLMOps pipelinesFamiliarity with model monitoring tools like Arize AI
