Regulatory Specialist (Experience in food companies)Hershey, PA (Hybrid)Contract Typical Day:• Support label development, artwork reviews and approvals• Review recipe submissions for regulatory compliance, work on claims substantiations• Participate in cross functional project meetings for Salty innovation and renovations• Provide regulatory guidance to R&D, Marketing, and Commercial teams• Update regulatory systems and trackers (labels, certifications, compliance reviews) Top Three Technical Skills:U.S. Food Regulatory Knowledge (labeling, allergens, claims, ingredients, additives)Finished Product Labeling, artwork reviews and approvals & Claims Review (end to end execution)Cross Functional Regulatory Support in a fast paced consumer packaged goods environment Must Haves (i.e., years of experience?)• 2-5+ years Regulatory Affairs experience in food companies• Strong working knowledge of U.S. food labeling and ingredient regulations• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Regulatory, Biology, Chemistry, or related field• Experience supporting cross functional product development teams Very important soft skills• Attention to detail• Strong problem solving and critical thinking. Comfortable with ambiguity.• Excellent analytical and research skills• Excellent communication skills (i.e. verbal, written)• Excellent organizational skills and ability to self-manage for managing numerous priorities• Strong initiative, and the ability to change in a fast-changing environment• Impeccable ethics and must maintain a high level of confidentiality
