A global food and beverage packaging machinery manufacturer near Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Sales Representative to support their business development operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Marketing, and experience selling machinery or industrial products to customers in manufacturing, automation, or material handling / conveyance.Entry-level and junior-level candidates are encouraged to apply! This is a full-time and direct hire role, offering full benefits (health/dental/vision insurances, PTO, 401k options) and a base salary range between $55,000 - 65,000 (dependent on level of experience), plus commission bonus.Sales Representative Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain a network of prospective customer accounts to produce new sales leadsProspect new clients and build strong business relationshipsConnect with existing accounts in material handling, automation, and manufacturing to understand their current business needs, and alert them to new product and service offerings that may be of interestPrepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the product's utility to prospective customersProvide excellent customer service at every stage of the sales process, ensuring customers receive their order exactly to their specificationsCollaborate with engineering, production and quality departments on product changes and custom ordersMaintain customer files, sales reports, part number files, and pricingProvide accurate quotations for productsAssist in other areas when necessarySales Representative requirements include:Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Prefer at least two (2) years of sales experience. Entry-level candidates with internship experience are encouraged to apply!Ability to travel 50 - 75%, nationwide throughout the U.S, Canada, and Mexico.
