Assistant Superintendent

The Field Assistant Superintendent serves as on-site leader and is directly responsible for labor performance, safety compliance, quality control, schedule execution, and coordination with project management and jobsite stakeholders.What We're Looking ForProven experience leading field construction crewsStrong ability to organize manpower and execute work efficientlyExperience reading and interpreting construction drawings/shop drawingsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of safety compliance and field accountabilityConstruction Science degree or formal construction education preferred but not requiredBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusProficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and other construction technology platforms preferredKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage field crews and temporary laborDrive production to meet project schedules and labor budgetsEnsure all work meets quality standards and contract requirementsEnforce Texas safety standards and OSHA complianceCoordinate daily with project managers, general contractors, and trade partnersTrack daily progress, manpower, and field reportingMentor field personnel and uphold accountability across the jobsiteExperience:Commercial construction: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:OSHA 10 (Required)OSHA 30 (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Required)
