Vice President of TaxAtlanta, GA We are recruiting on behalf of a global industrial company headquartered in Atlanta for an accomplished Vice President of Tax. This is a high?impact leadership role within a collaborative, business?focused culture that values tax as a strategic partner. This role will lead and mentor a team of 4-8 tax professionals and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving value, efficiency, and risk management across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include: Leading domestic and international tax compliance and provision activitiesDeveloping and executing tax planning strategies aligned with business growth and risk objectivesManaging global tax audits and serving as the primary point of contact with external advisors and authoritiesDriving process improvements, automation, and efficiencies across the Tax functionSupporting M&A activities, including due diligence and integration from a strategic tax perspectivePartnering cross?functionally with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and business leaders to support operational and strategic initiativesBuilding, mentoring, and developing a high?performing Tax team, with a strong emphasis on talent development and succession planningThe successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and a passion for elevating the Tax function as a value?adding business partner. Qualifications & Experience: CPA designation requiredMaster's degree in Accounting or TaxBig 4 public accounting experienceExperience supporting industrial, manufacturing, and/or distribution companies or clients strongly preferredDemonstrated career progression with prior experience leading Tax functions or teams at a similar levelExpertise in U.S. and global tax compliance and provisionExperience supporting M&A transactions from a strategic tax perspectiveProven ability to drive efficiencies, enhance processes, and improve tax operationsSuperior people leadership skills with a track record of developing and advancing top talentCollaborative, solutions?oriented mindset with the ability to influence across functional linesStable career history demonstrating long?term impact and commitmentNote - Seeking Atlanta-based talent exclusively for this opportunity.Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
