Project Supply Chain Coordinator

Position - Project Logistics CoordinatorLocation - Houston, TX 77077Duration - 1.5 years +Pay Rate - $34/hour on W2Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Project Logistics Coordinator to support logistics activities within a large-scale project environment. This role will act as a key interface between procurement, expediting, inspection, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination, shipment visibility, and timely delivery of materials.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with logistics service providers to track and monitor shipment statusIdentify and escalate potential delays or risks impacting delivery timelinesSupport freight quote requests and logistics forecasting activitiesPrepare and maintain logistics reports for internal and external stakeholdersAssist in resolving freight invoice and payment-related issuesCollaborate with project teams to support logistics strategies for equipment movementInvestigate process non-compliance, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actionsContribute to continuous improvement of logistics processesWork closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, expediting, and vendorsRequired QualificationsAssociate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience in project logistics or supply chain coordinationStrong understanding of shipment tracking, reporting, and vendor coordinationProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting capital or mega projects (EPC, oil & gas, construction, etc.)Exposure to freight forwarding or logistics contract managementFamiliarity with SAP or Smart MaterialsExperience working in multicultural or global project environmentsWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule (Onsite + Remote flexibility)Collaborative, fast-paced project environmentOpportunity to work on long-term, large-scale projectsInterview ProcessInitial interview via Microsoft TeamsFinal in-person interview (if required)GTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
