SAP Functional Consultant - Fiori

SAP S/4HANA Functional ConsultantJob Summary:The SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant is responsible for translating business requirements into SAP system solutions, configuring and supporting SAP modules, and driving end-to-end functional design. This role plays a key part within the SAP Center of Excellence by ensuring system alignment with business processes, supporting implementation and enhancement projects, and maintaining system stability through ongoing support and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:• Analyze and document business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization using SAP best practices• Gather, validate, and prioritize functional requirements with stakeholders and internal teams• Configure SAP S/4HANA modules and Fiori applications based on business needs• Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop functional design documentation• Support integration testing and ensure end-to-end process alignment• Create functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with technical teams• Execute unit testing, coordinate UAT, and manage defect resolution• Provide post-go-live support, including incident resolution and root cause analysis• Maintain documentation for configurations, designs, and workflows in alignment with ITIL standards• Deliver user training and create supporting materials• Participate in release management, transport coordination, and change control• Collaborate with COE, PMO, and technical teams on project execution and governance• Monitor SAP updates and recommend system improvements• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data integrity standardsMinimum Education & Experience Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (required)• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP functional experience (required)• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with SAP Fiori applications (required)• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and system integration (required)Special Requirements:• Experience with SAP Activate methodology (required)• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices (required)• SAP certification in relevant module(s) (preferred)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications• Proficiency in SAP configuration and functional documentation• Experience with testing cycles, including UAT and defect management• Solid understanding of integration points across SAP modules• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities• Familiarity with SAP tools such as Solution Manager or Cloud ALMAdditional Desired Characteristics:• Experience in SAP implementation or rollout projects• Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industriesOther Duties:This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
