About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all human resources functions while supporting overall office operations in a fast-paced industrial service environment.This role will work closely with leadership, operations managers, field supervisors, and office staff to support a growing workforce consisting of both field and office employees across multiple locations.The ideal candidate has experience supporting service-based, safety-sensitive industries such as mechanical services, industrial services, construction, manufacturing, transportation, or field service operations. They understand the realities of managing technicians, drivers, field crews, workplace injuries, safety compliance, and workforce accountability in hands-on operational environments.This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys building structure, solving problems, improving processes, and operating as a true business partner to leadership and operations.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership & Operations SupportLead and own the HR function across the organizationPartner closely with leadership and operations teams to align workforce strategy with company goalsSupport workforce growth, accountability, retention, and organizational planningAssist in building scalable HR processes that support both field and office operationsOperate as a hands-on HR leader capable of balancing strategy with daily executionWorkforce Planning, Recruiting & RetentionDevelop and execute hiring strategies for both skilled field labor and office positionsBuild pipelines for technicians, mechanics, field service employees, and operational support rolesImprove onboarding, retention, and workforce development processesSupport workforce planning in a fast-paced service and operations environmentSafety, Risk Management & Employee RelationsAssist in managing workers' compensation claims, injury reporting, return-to-work coordination, and claim follow-upUnderstand the impact workers' compensation claims and EMR (Experience Modification Rate) have on business operations, customer requirements, and company risk exposurePartner with operations and safety personnel to support a strong safety culture across field and office environmentsSupport incident documentation, investigations, corrective actions, and compliance effortsHelp reinforce accountability, consistency, and communication across teamsHandle employee relations matters including investigations, coaching, documentation, and conflict resolutionTraining & Leadership DevelopmentDevelop and implement onboarding, compliance, safety, and leadership training programsSupport leadership development for supervisors, managers, and field leadersHelp establish clear expectations, career paths, and workforce accountabilityCompensation, Benefits & HR SystemsSupport compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and workforce planning initiativesManage HR systems, payroll coordination, reporting, and employee data integrityTrack workforce metrics including turnover, hiring performance, training completion, and retentionWhy Join UsOpportunity to make a direct impact in a growing operational businessHigh visibility and ownership within the organizationCollaborative team environment with strong leadership involvementAbility to help shape processes, culture, training, and workforce developmentOpportunity to work closely with both leadership and operations in a true business partner roleAdditional InsightThis role is best suited for someone who enjoys building, problem-solving, and taking ownership of outcomes.
