Job Title: HR Business Partner DirectorLocation: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA - 3 days on siteDuration: Contract to HireCompensation:70-80/hour (contract)Conversion salary target: ~$150K-$180KBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401KAbout Us: Brilliant is an award-winning contract and consulting practice headquartered in Chicago, specializing in accounting, finance, technology, and business solutions across the Midwest and Southeast U.S. labor markets.About the role We are partnering with a global technology organization specializing in payment solutions and commerce enablement to identify a HR Business Partner Director to support high-impact Sales and Product leadership teams.This global organization supports retail, e-commerce, and digital businesses with platforms that streamline transactions, enhance customer experiences, and enable scalable growth. The environment is fast-paced and highly dynamic, with a strong focus on leveraging technology and talent to drive performance.Role Overview:This is a business-first leadership role where HR is a secondary lens. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who connects people, structure, and performance to business outcomes including revenue, efficiency, and growth. You will partner directly with VP and senior leaders across Sales and Product (approx. 15 leaders), advising on organizational design, workforce strategy, and operational effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing organizational structure and workforce strategyAlign people strategy to business outcomes, including revenue growth, efficiency, and scalabilityIdentify gaps across teams, workflows, and talent, and implement solutions to improve performanceSupport and influence VP and executive-level conversations with confidence and credibilityDrive organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy for Sales and Product organizationsPartner on operational and financial planning, tying headcount and productivity to business performanceLead and develop HR support structure over time (future direct report expected post-conversion)Leverage HRIS systems, analytics, and AI tools to drive insights and decision-makingOperate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong focus on execution and resultsQualifications:8+ years of progressive experience (ideal ~15 years; open to strong candidates with 5-7 years who can level up quickly)MBA or equivalent advanced business degree requiredSHRM-SCP or SPHR preferredProven ability to operate as a business leader with HR as a supporting functionStrong executive presence with experience supporting VP and senior leadership teamsDemonstrated P&L literacy and comfort with operational and financial metricsExperience supporting Sales and/or Product organizations, particularly during growth or transformationExpertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and performance strategyExperience operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environmentsFamiliarity with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot)Preferred: experience in product-led or high-growth technology environmentsWhat They're Looking For:A true business leader who uses HR as a lever, not a core identitySomeone who can drive strategy, challenge assumptions, and influence outcomesNot a traditional HR specialist focused on recruiting or DEI-only backgroundsStrong ability to optimize human capital for business performance and growthThis is a unique opportunity for a high-impact business-minded HR leader who wants to shape organizational strategy and directly influence growth at scale.If you're interested in learning more, apply directly or reach out for a confidential conversation.Brilliant Staffing, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
