Due to the client-site nature of this role, we are unable to support OPT or STEM OPT employment, including completion of Form I-983What You Will Be DoingAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing drivers, and regional regulations to build smart sourcing strategies that create long?term competitive advantagesUse Laird's global procurement processes, tools, and governance standards to deliver business results while keeping systems and data accurate and up to dateLead the development, negotiation, and ongoing management of supply agreements, considering demand forecasts, growth objectives, contract terms, pricing history, and quality and regulatory requirementsPartner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Program Management, Quality, and other teams to proactively identify and mitigate supply risks and ensure supply continuityDrive cost?saving initiatives and working capital improvements while actively managing cost pressuresBuild strong supplier relationships by developing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) plans for critical suppliers, promoting continuous improvement, maximizing value, and minimizing riskWho You AreBachelors Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain or a related field is required 5-10 years of sourcing, operations or supply chain experience including at least 3 years in raw material strategic sourcing role Strong negotiation skills & High ethical standards.Good communication and relationship skills (internal clients, external suppliers). High degree of competency in data and value analysis, combined with excellent IT skills.Good understanding of Legal fundamentals (as relates to contracts). High level of understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals and the integration with Sourcing.Good understanding of Finance fundamentals. Good understanding of Regulatory requirements.
