We're hiring an Investment Operations Associate on behalf of our client"”a growing, SEC-registered boutique wealth management firm based in Conshohocken, PA. This is an internally focused, analytical role that sits at the intersection of investment operations, trading execution, and portfolio support.Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Investment Operations, this associate will play a hands-on role in executing trades, maintaining proprietary portfolio models, managing electronic proxy voting, and supporting the firm's investment management platform. If you thrive in a head-down, detail-oriented environment where precision and process matter, this role was built for you.Core ResponsibilitiesTrading & ExecutionExecute equity, ETF, fixed income, and mutual fund trades in accordance with portfolio manager direction and firm strategyMonitor trade activity to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and best execution practicesReconcile trades and positions across custodians (e.g., Schwab) and internal systemsCover trading desk responsibilities, including afternoon desk coverage, as neededMaintain trading logs and supporting documentation for compliance and audit purposesPortfolio Modeling & RebalancingMaintain and update the firm's proprietary stock model on a weekly basis using data provided by investment managersSupport model portfolio alignment with firm investment strategyAnalytics & ReportingGenerate performance reports and portfolio analytics for internal useSupport development and enhancement of internal reporting tools and dashboardsConduct ad hoc analyses to support investment decision-making and firm initiativesOperations & Process ManagementHandle electronic proxy voting and related compliance documentationEnsure data integrity across portfolio management and reporting systemsIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiencyCollaborate cross-functionally with compliance to ensure adherence to SEC regulations and internal policiesCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the financial services industry"”the terminology, the workflows, and the operational nuances that come with working in an investment management environment.
