This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role responsible for building the systems, processes, and culture needed to support rapid growth while maintaining a high-energy, people-first environment.This leader will serve as a strategic partner building scalable recruiting infrastructure, workforce planning, and leadership development.What You Bring & Will OwnExecutive Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating business goals into scalable people and hiring strategiesPartner on workforce planning, organizational design, and headcount forecasting to support rapid growthUse data and insights to drive decisions related to hiring, retention, and organizational healthIdentify gaps in team effectiveness and implement solutions that improve performance and engagementTalent Acquisition Build a best-in-class Talent Acquisition supporting both corporate and field hiringDevelop and execute strategies for high-volume recruiting tied to new store openings and growth targetsBuild proactive talent pipelines for multi-unit field operator and leadership and corporate roles Partner closely with hiring leaders to define role requirements, interview processes, and hiring expectationsImplement structured, scalable recruiting processes that improve time to fill, quality of hire and candidate experienceEstablish and track recruiting KPIs and hiring forecasts aligned with business needsEvaluate and implement tools, systems, and workflows to support recruiting at scalePerformance ManagementDesign and lead performance management processes (goal setting, feedback, reviews, accountability)Coach leaders to deliver clear, consistent feedback and manage performance effectivelyIdentify and develop high-potential talent; build succession plans for key rolesStrengthen leadership capability across all levels of the organizationEmployee RelationsChampion a high-energy, values-driven culture aligned with the brandDrive employee engagement initiatives that are authentic and actionableServe as a trusted resource for employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent outcomesBuild systems that reinforce accountability while maintaining a people-first approachExperience8+ years of progressive HR and Talent Acquisition leadership experienceProven success building and leading Recruiting in high-growth multi-unit retail food and/or beverage organizationsStrong background in high-volume recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagementStrong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employment lawAbility to use data and metrics to drive decision-making and improvementHands-on leader who is comfortable operating both strategically and tacticallyStrong coach and relationship builder across all levels of the organizationHigh level of emotional intelligence, integrity and sound judgmentThrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environmentsBonus PointsExperience in coffee, beverage, or drive-thru conceptsExperience building recruiting teams, processes, or employer branding strategiesExperience building training or leadership development programs151 Coffee is based in Dallas, TX and founded by Mark Wattles (Hollywood Video, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, HomeAdvisor).
