Bringing together strategic insight and technical horsepower to deliver outcomes that endure.Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Transformation Consultant to lead a global initiative to modernize and standardize the company's Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and expense reporting processes. This role will drive the design and implementation of a unified global expense platform, harmonize disparate travel policies, integrate data across systems, and establish a robust reporting and compliance framework.This is a hands-on consulting role working closely with Operational Accounting, HR, IT, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders. The consultant will oversee the full lifecycle of the transformation"”including scope definition, process design, configuration, data management, testing, deployment, and onboarding of new business ventures into the standardized solution.Key ObjectivesStandardize global travel and expense policies across disparate business unitsConverge multiple expense and travel platforms into a single standardized solutionEnable enriched, reliable data for compliance, analytics, and executive reportingEstablish scalable processes to onboard future business ventures into the platformKey ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Transformation ExecutionLead the end-to-end transformation of global expense reporting and T&E processes.Develop and execute a comprehensive project roadmap, milestones, and cross-functional workplans.Define program scope, requirements, and success metrics aligned with Operational Accounting and Finance strategies.Facilitate change management, communications, and training strategies.Policy Standardization & Global Process DesignAnalyze existing travel and expense policies across business units, lead convergence into a standard global policy framework.Establish standardized processes encompassing Employee account setup and lifecycle (HRIS-linked), Travel booking and approval flows, Expense submission, routing, and audit, corporate credit card usage, Reimbursement and payment processes and Compliance monitoring and exception handling.Systems Architecture, Integration & ConfigurationLead the consolidation of multiple T&E platforms into one preferred global system (e.g., Concur or Navan).Oversee integrations among HRIS (Workday) for employee master data and cost centers, Travel booking systems, T&E Expense Reporting systems, ERP D365 for accounting, AP, GL, and payment processing, Access/identity governance tools such as SaviyntLead configuration of system policies, workflows, cost objects, categories, audit rules, and reporting structures.Data Management & Data EnrichmentMap data flows across HR, travel, expense, and financial platforms.Oversee data enrichment strategies to improve reporting granularity and auditability.Ensure consistent global data definitions, data governance, and master data alignment.Reporting, Analytics & KPI DevelopmentDefine standardized global KPIs for T&E, including Policy compliance, Spend analytics, Out-of-policy exceptions, Approval cycle times, Vendor/category insightsDesign dashboards in Power BI and establish automated, scalable reporting models.Implement controls and monitoring mechanisms for ongoing compliance.Business Expansion & Platform MigrationLead onboarding and integration of new business ventures and acquisitions into the standardized global platform.Ensure repeatable migration playbooks, templates, and data conversion methods.Required Experience & QualificationsTechnical & Functional ExpertiseDeep hands-on experience with Concur and/or Navan configuration and administration.Strong working knowledge of: Workday (HRIS data structures, cost centers, employee data sync), Dynamics 365 (D365) for financial integrations, Saviynt or similar identity/access governance tools, Power BI (modeling, data transformations, visual design)Expertise in data mapping, data transformation, and cross-system data flows.Experience with corporate credit card programs and payment settlement processes.Process & Transformation Experience15-20 years leading financial systems, T&E, or operational accounting transformation initiatives.Strong background in: Travel policy design and enforcement, Expense reporting processes, Workflow design and system governance, multi-system integrations in complex enterprise environmentsLeadership & Delivery SkillsAbility to drive a large-scale, multi-phase transformation in a matrixed environment.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and requirements facilitation.Hands-on approach"”capable of executing configuration, documentation, testing, and issue resolution directly.Preferred QualificationsExperience with global/multi-country T&E transformation strongly preferred.Familiarity with data governance frameworks and financial compliance requirements.Management consulting or systems integrator background.Success MetricsAdoption of a unified global T&E policy and process framework.Consolidation to a single global T&E platform.Accurate, automated data flows across HRIS, travel, expense, ERP, and reporting systems.Delivery of standardized Power BI dashboards and compliance reporting.Successful onboarding of new business ventures to the global platform.
