Will need to work 3 days a week in offices located in Columbus, OH.As a Lead QA Engineer, you'll be joining our team of talented experts. The right candidate will possess the following experience:Key Responsibilities.Lead and mentor QA analysts and engineers embedded within agile teams or value streamsDefine and evolve the quality strategy, standards, and best practices across the agile linePartner and collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, and Engineering Leads and Developers to ensure quality is built into requirements and design including understanding of requirements and Gherkin acceptance criteriaOversee test planning, execution, and reporting across sprints, releases, and program incrementsDrive test automation strategy and integration into CI/CD pipelinesDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases aligned to user stories and featuresEnsure adequate coverage of functional, integration, regression, performance, and non-functional testingMonitor and analyze quality metrics and test results to identify trends (defect trends, coverage, automation rates, escape defects) and drive continuous improvementManage risk by identifying quality gaps, dependencies, and systemic issues across teamsSupport release readiness assessments and go-live decisionsFoster a quality-first, shift-left mindset aligned with agile valuesParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectivesValidate functionality, integrations, data integrity, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, usability)Identify, document, and track defects using ADO; partner with teams to ensure timely resolutionPerform regression, system, integration, and UAT support testing as neededAdvocate for best practices in testability, test automation, and agile quality standardsCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes, goals, and pain pointsElicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements using agile techniquesDecompose requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteriaSupport backlog refinement, sprint planning, and PI/release planning activitiesAct as a liaison between business, product, and delivery teams to ensure shared understandingAnalyze data, metrics, and outcomes to inform decision-making and prioritizationIdentify dependencies, risks, and impacts across teams or value streamsSupport continuous improvement by inspecting processes and recommending enhancementsAssist with UAT planning, execution, and defect triage when neededEnsure solutions align with organizational standards, compliance, and strategic objectivesExperience RequiredAzure DevOps, JiraExperience working with Gherkin acceptance criteriaAbility to run automation tests (Selenium, Playwright)CMS experience required (Sitecore is a plus)Good understanding of SQL, XML, SOAP/REST APIsMore about G2OWe're different than other companies at G2O.
