Tax Administrative Coordinator :: Melville, NY (Onsite), Contract to hireWe are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Administrative Coordinator to support tax administration operations within a professional services environment. This role will work closely with the Tax Administration Manager to ensure efficient execution of tax processes, compliance with established procedures, and effective support of tax-related systems and tools. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative experience in tax operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office setting.What You Will DoExecute tax administration processes under the direction of the Tax Administration Manager Support tax software, tools, and applications Assist with implementation and enforcement of tax standards and procedures Help train administrative and tax professionals on processes and systems Monitor adherence to tax compliance standards and internal procedures Identify process or system issues and recommend improvements Generate reports and perform basic data analysis Build strong relationships with tax and administrative teams across the office Provide local office support and handle additional administrative duties as assigned What You Will BringHigh school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor's degree (preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax administration role within a professional services firm Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Experience with ERP systems (preferred) Solid understanding of tax deadlines, forms, and administrative procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail??
