Division Controller

Confidential Director-Level ControllerWe are representing a long-standing client on a confidential Controller search for a global manufacturing / industrial business in the Atlanta metro area. This is a high-visibility leadership role overseeing a large North American accounting function and partnering closely with senior finance leadership.This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with a Big 4 foundation, strong controllership discipline, and experience leading teams inside a larger, complex company environment.What You'll Own:• Lead core accounting operations across multiple controllership functions• Oversee areas including AR, AP, fixed assets, leases, close, reporting, controls, and process improvement• Manage and develop a team of direct and indirect reports• Partner with senior finance and operational leaders across the business• Drive accuracy, accountability, scalability, and continuous improvement across the accounting function• Support a business with significant scale, complexity, and continued growthIdeal Background:• CPA required• 10-12 years of progressive accounting experience• Big 4 / public accounting foundation strongly preferred• Manufacturing, industrial, or large-company experience highly preferred• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, or similar leadership experience• Strong technical accounting, controls, close, and operational accounting exposure• Proven people leadership experience• Low-ego, high-EQ, hands-on, ownership-driven leadership style• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environmentWhy This Role:• Global company with strong scale and continued growth• High-visibility leadership role with meaningful ownership• Strong compensation package• Hybrid schedule with Friday work-from-home flexibility• Modern, collaborative office environment• Opportunity to help shape and improve a sizable accounting functionCompensation:$200,000-$220,000 base + bonusHybrid schedule, four days in officeThis is a confidential search; company details will be shared with qualified candidates after an initial conversation.
