This role supports civil/site development projects for commercial, industrial, institutional, and energy clients. The position involves site design, permitting, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and participation throughout the full project lifecycle"”from concept through construction. The individual will work closely with senior leadership, interact with clients and public agencies, and mentor junior staff while growing their career in a collaborative, employee-focused environment.Day to Day:Work with project teams to create civil engineering site development designsDevelop permitting and construction plansPrepare municipal zoning and land development applicationsDesign site layouts, site grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management facilities, and site utilitiesInteract with clients, contractors, and local government officialsParticipate in projects from conceptual and design phases through regulatory review, bidding, construction, and project completionWork closely with Project Managers and Principals to plan and execute projectsCommunicate with clients and assist in developing new client opportunitiesCoordinate with other practices, including geotechnical engineering, environmental, and ecological teamsMentor junior staff on technical itemsAttend industry organization and client meetings
