This role blends deep wireless domain expertise with advanced software automation. You will be tasked with validating cutting-edge Wi-Fi standards and mesh technologies while developing robust automation frameworks to drive efficiency in the testing lifecycle.Core Competencies: Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the following "Must-Have" areas:Wireless Standards: Expert knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E) protocols.Automation Development: Proficiency in building and maintaining frameworks using Java and CucumberNetworking Protocols: Deep understanding of TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and Band Steering.Testing Methodologies: Proven experience in Functional, Regression, Interoperability, and Performance testing for broadband hardware.Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Validation: Lead the testing of gateways and home networking devices, focusing on mesh networking, roaming capabilities, and wireless backhaul stability.Automation Strategy: Design and implement scalable automation test scripts to increase coverage and integrate testing into existing CI/CD pipelinesAdvanced Troubleshooting: Analyze and debug complex issues across the end-to-end network stack, performing deep-dive root cause analysis on connectivity failures.Collaboration & Quality: Partner with Architecture and Product teams to identify quality gaps early in the development cycle, ensuring stable and high-quality software releases.Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the overarching test strategy at a feature and product level.Technical Depth:Hardware Environments: Experience testing Wi-Fi extenders and gateways in complex interference environments.Performance Metrics: Validation of throughput, latency, and signal strength across various frequency bands.Compliance & Standards: Ensuring hardware adheres to global wireless connectivity standards and interoperability requirements.Professional Closing: We are seeking a detail-oriented engineer who is passionate about the future of wireless connectivity.
