Job Summary The Human Resources Coordinator assists with and supports human resource processes across the firm. This position helps with firm-wide recruitment efforts, the annual summer associate program, and other recruiting initiatives. Additionally, the Human Resources Coordinator contributes to the entire employee lifecycle and provides administrative support to the HR function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry.Job ResponsibilitiesAssists the Recruiting Manager with the new hire recruiting process including candidate sourcing, interviews, background checks and offer letters.Maintains the internal recruiting database.Administers external recruiting systems and ensures efficient flow of candidate resumes.Assists the Recruiting Manager with On-Campus Interviews (OCI).Supports the Summer Associate program by maintaining the summer calendar, managing assignment workflow and coordinating distribution and attending events.Assists the Recruiting Manager with internal associate training seminars, including maintaining the calendar and coordinating CLE credit with the state bar.Provides support for internal associate events and firm-wide events.Manages the recruiting e-mail box and escalates issues as required.Serves as a back up for the human resource function including general HR and benefits.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Skilled at multi-tasking and working in a team environment.Ability to maintain confidential information.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree with a Human Resources focus preferred.Law firm experience strongly preferred.Fluency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.Experience with HRIS/Talent Acquisition systems preferred by not required.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull-time position with a 37.5-hour work weekWorkdays are Monday through Friday with a 7.5 hour/day schedule between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, evening work is common during the Summer Program.TravelMinimal travel required.Typical travel involves day trips primarily from May through August; however, occasional overnight travel may be necessary.Why Swift Currie At Swift Currie, we recognize that talented people are essential to our success, enabling us to provide exceptional service to our clients.
