This is an execution-oriented role for someone who can move with urgency once direction is set, ask sharp questions when working through ambiguity, and produce rigorous, clearly structured work product.Procurement is one of the most visible pain points across the organization, and two active enterprise initiatives are creating immediate demand for dedicated PdM capacity. You will partner closely with the Sr. PdM who owns procurement strategy and direction. Your job is to go deep where she can't: conducting discovery, documenting process flows, mapping system impacts, and building the analytical work that turns a well-framed problem into a recommendation leadership can act on.This role is part of the Core Finance PdM team, which is aligned to the CFO organization and is in the middle of a significant transformation program. Comfort with complexity, active cross-functional collaboration, and a bias toward completing things are essential. What You'll Own:Build the business case for technology opportunity in procurement. This includes conducting discovery across cross-functional stakeholders to document current-state pain points, map process flows, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver a structured recommendation suitable for CFO-level review.Support emerging enterprise procurement-impacting efforts by identifying system and process impacts, contributing to the roadmap, and facilitating structured discovery and solutioning sessions with cross-functional partners.Write complete user stories and acceptance criteria for work advancing into development; maintain backlog hygiene for procurement workstreams, tracking dependencies and flagging risks proactively.Conduct stakeholder research and share findings to deepen understanding of procurement needs and inform product decisions.Drive progress against deliverables, engaging the Sr. PdM and broader leadership to manage risks and dependencies so that outcomes are achieved on timeline.Communicate status, findings, and recommendations clearly, in writing and in conversation, to your Sr. PdM partner and Finance PdM leadership.Evaluate AI-enabled solutions as part of the technology opportunity assessment for procurement, including identifying where automation or intelligent workflows could address process gaps identified during discovery.Who You Are:We're looking for someone who executes with rigor, earns trust quickly, and takes ownership of their work without needing to be managed to it. Specifically, you:Move when direction is set. You don't need a fully formed brief to get started. Once the problem is framed, you drive the work forward. You know when to check back in versus when to push through.Produce clean, structured work. Your artifacts (process maps, business cases, user stories, analysis) are well-organized and don't require heavy editing. You communicate at the right level of detail for the audience.Know your way around procurement. You understand procure-to-pay workflows well enough to ask smart questions of stakeholders and spot when a process is broken. You don't need to be a Coupa expert on day one, but you need to ramp quickly.Build relationships fast. You're comfortable reaching out to people you haven't met, navigating a matrixed organization, and establishing credibility in a new environment. Are comfortable with incomplete information. You can make sound decisions without full clarity and know when to escalate versus proceed. You flag uncertainty clearly rather than absorbing it quietly.Required Qualifications:3+ years of product management or equivalent experience; you've owned a backlog, driven discovery, and worked directly with engineering and business stakeholdersExperience documenting process flows and translating operational complexity into structured product requirementsFamiliarity with procurement, finance, or supply chain workflows, including purchase orders, vendor management, receiving processes, or procure-to-pay systemsStrong written communication skills; you produce clear, well-organized artifacts that can stand on their ownDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships quickly, and earn stakeholder trust in a new environmentComfort operating in ambiguous, complex environments where context is still being developedFamiliarity with AI and automation tools, with the ability to assess their applicability to business process problems and incorporate them into solution recommendations.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Coupa or similar procure-to-pay platformsFamiliarity with Oracle Fusion or ERP-adjacent procurement modulesBackground in retail or enterprise finance technology environmentsExperience supporting business case development or technology evaluation effortsExposure to Source-to-Pay or enterprise procurement process designAbout ASK: ASK Consulting is an award-winning technology and professional services recruiting firm servicing Fortune 500 organizations nationally.
