Medical Billing Coder

HSC Medical Billing & Consulting LLC is currently seeking a full time Medical Coder. Certification is preferred. Experience with Epic and Intergy is a plus. We are looking for an individual, who hasexperience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS, is detail-orientated with excellent verbal, written, and time management skills. Our core values of honesty and integrity, empowerment, leadership, harmony, quality and teamwork are reflected in the outstanding career opportunities that we provide our employees.Job Duties:Assign the correct CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCs codes to bill insurance providersDetermine the correct code(s) from provider's documentationRead and analyze patient recordsProvide education to staff and clients on coding-related topicsRequirements:2 to 4 years of medical billing coding experienceCPC or equivalent certification strongly preferredExperience with Epic, Intergy, eClinical, Health Fusion, and AdvancedMD a plusExcellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and to prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsPossess excellent written, grammar and communication skillsPossess excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel and OutlookGood attendance and punctualityPossess the ability to read and interpret provider's documentationRespond timely to inquiries by patients or clientsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of information at all timesHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience:Medical Coding: 2 years (Preferred but not required)Location:Evansville, IN (Required) No Remote
