Job Title: Project ManagerRate: $65-$70Hybrid: Tues-Thurs onsite, Mon & Fri remoteLong Term Contract with potential to conver to FTE W2 with benefitsBusiness ObjectiveThis Project Manager will support large-scale utility construction and network expansion initiatives within the LDC program. The PM ensures construction partners are completing scope accurately, identifies gaps or issues, asks the right questions, and keeps work moving in the right direction. This role directly impacts schedule, quality, and alignment across engineering, construction, and field teams.Day-to-Day Responsibilities• Manage construction progress and verify work aligns with required scope ("Did they actually do what they were supposed to do?")• Communicate with construction partners, engineers, and internal teams to gather answers, clarify needs, and keep work unblocked• Attend project meetings and steer discussions back on track when needed• Review drawings, maps, CAD outputs, and GIS overlays (training provided if unfamiliar)• Support field visits and site walks (no physical labor)• Help build new processes and workflows "” the team is "building the plane as they fly it"• Provide updates on risks, timelines, and field conditions• Participate as a key decision-making voice in coordination meetingsMUST-HAVE Skills• Strong project management fundamentals (industry-standard PM mindset)• Ability to ask questions to understand requirements and identify gaps• Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)• Ability to learn GIS web tools• Ability to review CAD maps or project drawings (can be taught; not required on day one)• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environmentsNice-to-Have Skills• Experience with GIS tools, Google Earth, or web GIS overlays• Exposure to construction, utilities, telecom, or infrastructure industries• Ability to command a room and confidently redirect conversations• Comfortable working with senior, tenured field personnel• Ability to establish structure where none exists• Willingness to occasionally perform field site walks (hard hat/vest provided, no physical labor)• Flexibility to support territories from Greeley to south of Pueblo (Alamosa) "” not expected in the first 3 monthsTeam Information• Hiring Manager comes from telecom• Team includes PMs, Project Engineers, Construction interfaces, and GIS/CAD support• Team is new "” processes and responsibilities are still being defined
