Site Superintendent - Commercial Columbus, Ohio - Onsite Salary: $85,000 - 120,000 a year Summary: This position serves as both a leader and coordinator, managing various projects, at multiple job sites, within the organization. Project Superintendents perform a wide variety of supervisory and field activities relative to project execution, administrative, drawing conformance, scheduling, project close-out, budget adherence, contract and subcontract administration, coordination, cost control, and document controlIn addition, this position is responsible for quality control, safety and customer coordination and communication.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasksOversees all Field personnel and activities.Manage workload effectively; prioritizing items based on the demands of the project(s).Schedules each project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.Studies project plans and specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.Generate and distribute RFI's accordingly, including pricing into a change order if applicable.Assist with close-out documents including as-builts, warranties, etc.Communication - Ability to communicate with customers executives, architects, engineers, regulatory officials, subcontractors and suppliers. Convey expectations to Subcontractors, Suppliers and provide concise, timely reporting to management.Instructing - Teaching others how to do something.Cooperation - Refers to the ability to establish and maintain effective relations with architects, owners, residents, subcontractors, suppliers and Team. Time Management - Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently. Values time. Concentrates his/her efforts on the more important priorities. Work Quality - Directly responsible for quality control. Consistently achieves desired outcomes with a minimum of avoidable errors and problems. Safety - Organizes and trains other in proper safety standards.
