Civil Structural Engineer

Civil Structural EngineerHouston, TXExecute structural and civil design tasks for foundations, steel structures, platforms, retaining walls, equipment supports, pipe racks, and other site infrastructure systems.Perform structural analysis and design calculations using standard engineering methods and structural software tools (e.g., RISA-3D, STAAD.Pro, ENERCALC, MATHCAD).Develop and support preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables in coordination with designers and drafting staff.Apply applicable codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, OSHA, and MSHA to design and analysis work.Review and interpret project requirements including site surveys, geotechnical reports, vendor data, and architectural or process design inputs.Assist with the creation and verification of material take-offs (MTOs), bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering cost estimates.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, piping, electrical, and project management staff to ensure design alignment and constructability.Education: Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
