Data Privacy Operations SpecialistAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Data Privacy Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of our global privacy and data governance program. This role is primarily focused on privacy operations, secure data handling, compliance support, and data governance, with secondary responsibility for IT operations and employee access lifecycle management.This is a hands-on operational role partnering closely with IT, Security, HR, and Legal teams to help ensure employee and company data is handled securely, responsibly, and in compliance with privacy requirements.ResponsibilitiesData Privacy Operations (Primary Focus)Support day-to-day privacy operations and compliance activitiesAssist with DSAR fulfillment, data gathering, and validation across systemsMaintain data inventories, Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and privacy documentationSupport privacy audits, access reviews, and compliance readiness effortsEnsure proper data handling, retention, and deletion practicesHelp administer cookie consent and preference management toolsIdentify and escalate potential privacy or data handling risksIT Operations & Access Management (Secondary Focus)Execute employee onboarding and offboarding across systemsManage user access provisioning, deprovisioning, and permission changesSupport systems such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, HRIS, and related toolsTroubleshoot day-to-day access and system issuesSupport audit preparation and access review activitiesQualifications2-4 years of experience in data privacy operations, IT operations, security operations, or systems administrationFamiliarity with privacy regulations and concepts such as GDPR, CCPA, DSARs, or data governanceExperience managing user access and onboarding/offboarding processesStrong attention to detail and experience handling sensitive dataComfortable working cross-functionally with IT, Security, HR, and Legal teamsExperience with tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Rippling, or similar platformsStrong organizational, operational, and problem-solving skillsMust be able to work onsite 3x/weekPay range and compensation packageCompensation ranges from $110,000-125,000 with total earnings based on an OTE (On-Target Earnings) basis.
