PGAV recently completed a comprehensive HR audit that identified several key opportunities related to compliance, compensation structure, onboarding, employee development, systems optimization, and organizational planning.The Human Resources Manager will partner closely with executive leadership to build scalable HR strategies and processes that support the firm's long-term growth while preserving the culture that makes PGAV special.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable operating strategically and rolling up their sleeves to execute. This person will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while also driving day-to-day HR operations across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR LeadershipServe as a strategic HR partner to principals and senior leadershipHelp develop and implement long-term HR strategies aligned with company growth goalsLead compensation initiatives, including job evaluations, wage structures, and incentive programsCreate and maintain job descriptions and ensure proper FLSA classificationsSupport succession planning and organizational development effortsDevelop HR metrics and reporting to support business decisionsHR Operations & ComplianceManage and optimize HRIS systems and related HR processesOversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle programsReview and update employee handbook, policies, and compliance proceduresEnsure compliance with federal and multi-state employment lawsAdminister performance management and review processesImprove hiring workflows, documentation, and HR operational consistencySupport training initiatives, employee engagement programs, and process improvementsEmployee Relations & CultureFoster a positive, approachable, and solutions-oriented HR presenceSupport leaders with employee communication and change management initiativesPartner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement and retentionConduct exit interviews and support continuous culture improvementOversee benefits administration through internal support staffQualificationsRequired7+ years of progressive HR leadership or HR generalist experienceStrong expertise across employee relations, compliance, compensation, talent management, and HR operationsExperience managing and optimizing HRIS platformsStrong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practicesExcellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skillsAbility to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on executionBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldPreferredPHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certificationExperience within architecture, engineering, construction, design, or professional services environmentsExperience building HR infrastructure within a growing organizationMulti-location HR experiencePaylocity experience preferredWhy PGAVPGAV offers the opportunity to join a highly creative, collaborative organization where employees are passionate about the work they do and the environments they help create.
