Job Description:Payne Law, PLLC is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Summer Legal Intern to support our Intake Department. This role focuses on first-party property matters, offering a unique opportunity to gain substantive legal experience and professional development at the ground level of active client cases.This is a paid, on-site internship based in our Winter Park office. The program is intended for the summer duration (typically May/June through August), with specific start and end dates to be coordinated upon hire.Responsibilities:Assist with new client intake, including gathering and organizing case informationSupport documentation of first-party property claimsHelp maintain accurate client files and correspondenceWork closely with attorneys and intake staff throughout the claims processQualifications:Current law student (1L-3L) or undergraduate student of any majorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional demeanor and strong attention to detailPrior experience in a legal or insurance setting is a plus, but not requiredLocation: Winter Park, FL (On-site)Position Type: Internship (Temporary / Seasonal)Compensation: From $18.00 per hour (DOE)
