Case Manager - WIOA Train & Earn

Position SummaryThe WIOA Train & Earn Case Manager will regularly meet with participants to address barriers to program completion, including the provision of referrals to other service providers. The WIOA Train & Earn Case Manager will also complete all necessary data entry related to this work and support the larger team with other program activities, such as outreach and recruitment, workshops, post program placements. Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000 - salary is commensurate with education, training, and experience.Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmLocation: West Farms - Bronx, NYDuties and ResponsibilitiesAssess each applicant for program fit and support addressing barriers to program completionComplete a detailed intake assessment and design a corresponding service plan in collaboration with each qualifying applicant. Complete necessary enrollment paperwork.Meet with program participants regularly to discuss barriers to program completion leading to a post program outcome. Support in making external referrals to other service providers as necessary and ensure participants follow through with all referrals.Complete exit steps at the end of each cohort and assist with the placement into positive outcomes for all youth. Assure quality, timely data entry into Salesforce databaseAssist in identifying and developing services and programs not currently being offered. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience working directly with Youth/Young adults who are out of school and out of work (OSOW) and barriers to employmentA track record in providing comprehensive case management services to young adults. Familiarity with the public and nonprofit organizations within this population.Proven experience developing programmatic systems to enhance program outcomes.Establish strong working relationships with team members, colleagues, participants, and external stakeholders.Experience working on multiple projects and balancing competing priorities.Strong skill set in data management and data tracking; demonstrated experience managing data collection, analysis, and reporting. Education and Experience/TrainingBachelor's degree required.
