Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.Position Details:SRE Operations Engineer-Dallas TXLocation : Dallas, TXProject Duration : 12 Months ContractPay Rate : $45 to $50 an hour on W2Responsible for monitoring, triaging, and executing operational tasks for enterprise applications running on Kubernetes, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and infrastructure environments. The role focuses on incident management, run book execution, troubleshooting, and operational support.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Monitoring & Operations• Monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure using observability tools like Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, and AIOps platforms.• Identify anomalies, validate alerts, and follow operational workflows for issue resolution.• Support cloud and on-prem environments running Kubernetes and distributed applications.Incident Management & Run book Execution• Perform first-level incident triage, collect logs/metrics, and escalate issues when required.• Execute documented runbooks for standard operational incidents and service restoration.• Communicate incidents and updates clearly with internal stakeholders and support teams.• Maintain incident records, troubleshooting steps, and operational documentation.Kubernetes & Cloud Operations• Monitor Kubernetes pods, services, and deployments using kubectl and monitoring tools.• Verify application health, logs, and service connectivity across environments.• Support cloud-ready applications hosted in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.Scripting & Automation• Read, understand, and make small modifications to automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.• Support repetitive operational tasks and identify opportunities for automation improvements.Networking & Security Support• Troubleshoot basic networking issues using tools like ping, curl, trace route, and netstat.• Identify potential connectivity, firewall, proxy, or WAF-related issues before escalation.Required Skills• System & Infrastructure Monitoring experience• Run book Execution experience• Incident Triage & Communication skills• Kubernetes operational knowledge• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell• Networking & Security troubleshooting knowledge• Documentation & Knowledge Capture experience• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus• Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindsetPreferred Qualifications• 2-5 years of experience in IT Operations, NOC, SRE, or DevOps support roles• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP• Familiarity with ITSM tools like Service-now, Jira, or x Matters• Understanding of databases and cloud-native applications• Knowledge of automation and operational improvement processes referred.To discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Nikhil Jhajharia at email address Nikhil.Jhajharia@ can be reached on # (630) 576-1935.
