Performance ExpectationsEnhance the existing college planning methodology within the first 6 months.Maintain a regular cadence of content updates to reflect current admissions developments.Measurably improve franchise owner confidence and capability in delivering college planning services, as reflected in franchisee satisfaction surveys and student outcome metrics.QualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field preferred.5+ years of direct experience in college admissions, college counseling, or independent educational consulting. Candidates with fewer years will be considered if they demonstrate exceptional depth of knowledge.Demonstrated expertise in selective college admissions processes, including application strategy, essay development, extracurricular positioning, and testing.Current, working knowledge of the college admissions landscape, including recent policy shifts, institutional priorities, and emerging trends.Proven ability to build frameworks, write clearly, and translate complex expertise into practical, repeatable processes for non-experts.Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading webinars, creating written content, and speaking at industry events.Self-directed, organized, and comfortable building from scratch in a fast-paced environment.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience as a university admissions reader or officer at a selective institution Experience as a high school counselor at a well-regarded public or private school with a strong college-going culture.Independent educational consulting experience, including client-facing advising and program development.Membership or involvement in NACAC, IECA, or state ACAC affiliates.Experience with scholarship advising and merit aid strategy.Familiarity with the franchise business model or multi-location service delivery.
