Project Manager (Mid) | Utilities / Civil ConstructionWe're looking for a Mid-Level Project Manager to join a utility-focused organisation supporting electric, gas, and water infrastructure projects across the West Suburban Illinois region. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on PM with civil or utility construction experience who enjoys both office collaboration and field engagement.What You'll Do:Lead 10-12 utility and civil construction projects from initiation through closeoutDevelop and manage project scope, schedules, milestones, and resourcesPrepare and maintain monthly project forecasts and cash flow projectionsReview and evaluate contract proposals and bidsRead and interpret civil and utility construction plansMonitor budgets, risks, progress, and quality to ensure on-time deliveryCoordinate with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholdersConduct project meetings, site walkdowns, and status reportingMaintain accurate project documentation and support PM best practicesWhat You Bring:3+ years of Project Management experienceBackground in Utilities (Electric, Gas, Water), Civil Construction, or EngineeringExperience working on utility installation or relocation projectsStrong experience with project forecasting and monthly cash flowsContract and bid review experienceProficiency in ExcelBachelor's degree in Engineering, a Technical field, or Project ManagementWillingness to drive frequently to West Suburban Illinois project sites (Rockford, Elgin, Aurora, DeKalb, Freeport, Crystal Lake, etc.)Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (hybrid)Pay: $59 - $62/hour.If you have an interest in Project Manager, please apply now!
