Distribution Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience supporting utility distribution design, engineering standards, and critical infrastructure projects.This role is ideal for recent engineering graduates or junior engineers looking to build technical experience in the power and utilities industry while working alongside experienced engineering teams.What You'll Do:• Develop and revise engineering standards, specifications, and design criteria using MicroStation CAD software• Support distribution engineering projects and ensure compliance with internal standards and external industry codes• Design and evaluate systems, components, and engineering processes based on project requirements• Conduct technical analysis, testing, and evaluations to support safe and reliable operations• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering and project execution activities• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and engineering documentation• Troubleshoot technical issues and help identify effective engineering solutionsWhat We're Looking For:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required• 0-2 years of engineering experience• Exposure to CAD software such as MicroStation preferred• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data• Knowledge of engineering standards and industry best practices• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skillsThis is a great opportunity to launch your engineering career with a highly respected organization supporting critical energy infrastructure across the region.
