Position: Deputy General Manager NALocation: Campbell, CA | Remote Founded in 2006, Jinko is a NYSE-listed global manufacturing leader in solar and energy storage. We are seeking a Deputy General Manager to serve as a key member of the U.S. leadership team, acting as a strategic partner to the General Manager and a central integrator across functions, geographies, and priorities. This role drives business growth, strengthens market positioning, and ensures alignment among U.S. operations, domestic manufacturing, and global headquarters. The Deputy GM operates at both strategic and execution levels"”overseeing critical functions including business development, policy, marketing, communications, and market intelligence"”while supporting day-to-day commercial activities and advancing high-priority corporate initiatives. The Deputy GM also serves as a critical problem-solver for the organization, stepping in to address complex, ambiguous, or cross-functional challenges where ownership is unclear. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to rapidly assess situations, align stakeholders, and drive resolution in high-stakes situations. This position reports to the U.S. General Manager.Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & IntegrationServe as a trusted advisor to the General Manager on all aspects of U.S. business operations and strategyAct as a cross-functional integrator, aligning commercial, policy, marketing, and operational prioritiesServe as connective tissue across functions, ensuring alignment and information flow among stakeholdersEnsure strong coordination among U.S. commercial teams, U.S. factory, and global headquartersDrive execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability and follow-through across teamsOperational & Commercial SupportSupport the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including sales and key customer interactionsHelp remove barriers to execution across teams and functions to ensure timely delivery against commercial commitmentsDirectly support revenue generation through involvement in key customer relationships, deal structuring, and strategic positioning in major transactions Special Projects & Executive Problem-SolvingLead and resolve high-priority, ambiguous, or sensitive issues that do not fall neatly within existing silosAct as a "first call" resource when challenges arise requiring cross-functional coordination Diagnose organizational gaps, misalignments, or execution risks and implement practical solutions Drive special projects from concept through execution, under tight timelines and evolving conditions Make high-quality decisions in ambiguous situations where data is incomplete and risks are significantExercise strong judgment in navigating complex stakeholder dynamicsOperate as a senior escalation point for critical issues impacting customers, partners, or internal executionGlobal & Cross-Border CollaborationLiaise with U.S. factory leadership to ensure alignment with commercial strategy and customer needsPartner with HQ on strategic initiatives, including IP, joint ventures, and corporate development effortsCoordinate cross-border priorities and resolve misalignments between U.S. and HQ in real timeRisk MitigationIdentify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks, including geopolitical, regulatory, and operational threats Anticipate emerging risks and disruptions, positioning the company to respond ahead of competitors Coordinate internally to align supply chain strategy with policy, commercial, and manufacturing prioritiesBusiness Development & GrowthDirectly influence revenue through deal support and strategic positioning in key transactionsEnhance bankability and market positioning through strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagementIdentify and advance new ventures, partnerships, and market opportunitiesDevelop and advance new products and services that support overall business strategyPolicy & Market DevelopmentOversee federal and state policy strategy to support market access and business growthDefend the company against adverse policy and geopolitical actions (e.g., anti-China measures, blacklists, and trade restrictions) that could impact market access, operations, revenue, or reputationEngage with industry groups, policymakers, and key stakeholders to shape favorable policiesMonitor and interpret policy developments and translate them into actionable business strategiesMarketing & Brand StrategyDirect U.S. marketing strategy, including branding, positioning, and go-to-market initiativesOversee events, campaigns, and thought leadership efforts to strengthen market presenceEnsure consistent and compelling messaging across all external channelsCommunications & Reputation ManagementLead proactive and reactive communications, including crisis managementDevelop and execute communications strategies that enhance corporate reputation and stakeholder trustServe as a key spokesperson and advisor on sensitive issuesMarket IntelligenceOversee market research and competitive intelligence effortsProvide insights to inform strategic decision-making, product positioning, and commercial strategyRequirementsMaster's Degree, preferably MBA15+ years of experience in energy, renewables, or related industriesProven leadership across multiple functions Strong understanding of U.S. energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and commercial dynamicsTrack record of driving complex initiatives and influencing without direct authorityDemonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority workstreams simultaneously Experience working across international teams and managing cross-cultural stakeholdersHighly collaborative and able to operate as an organizational "connector"Commercially minded with a deep understanding of market driversComfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environmentsHigh judgment and discretion, particularly in sensitive or high-stakes situationsFluent Mandarin Chinese a plus
