UX ResearcherIndustry: Fortune 500 Finance companyLocation: Columbus, OH (5 days onsite, Monday-FridayDuration: 3-month contract (potential to go up to 6 months total; covering for an employee leave)Pay rate: $51-$56/hrOverview:The Experience Research Senior Associate leads qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives that inform critical decisions for current and future products. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities, uncover customer needs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that shape product design, architecture, and functionality.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end user research initiatives using both qualitative and quantitative methodsPartner with product, design, and technology teams to identify and prioritize research topics that inform business and product decisionsDesign and execute research studies, including exploratory field studies with users and subject-matter expertsPlan, recruit for, and conduct usability testing in lab, field, and remote environmentsAnalyze research findings and synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendationsPresent compelling, data-driven insights to stakeholders, including executive leadershipContribute to product design discussions and help determine appropriate research methodologies for key questionsSupport the full product design lifecycle through best practices in user researchRequirements:Proven experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user researchStrong knowledge of research methodologies, usability testing, and study designAbility to translate complex research findings into actionable insights and business recommendationsExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholdersExperience planning and executing research across multiple environments (lab, field, remote)Ability to manage multiple research initiatives and prioritize effectivelyThe salary range for this position is $51/hr to $56/hr.
