Job Description

We're looking for a Site Acquisition Manager to lead and develop an in-office team of Junior Site Acquisition Specialists supporting wireless/telecom site delivery. You'll own day-to-day team performance, process improvement, and quality/compliance across the acquisition lifecycle"”from candidate evaluation through leasing and jurisdictional approvals. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance coaching with solving complex acquisition challenges when needed.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop an in-office team of Junior Site Acquisition Specialists; drive utilization, productivity, and performance.Standardize and improve site acquisition workflows, documentation, and quality controls to ensure compliance and consistency.Oversee site candidate due diligence (leasing viability, land-use constraints, permitting requirements) and guide resolution of complex issues.Negotiate leases, amendments, and easements; maintain strong long-term landlord relationships.Manage zoning/permitting and collocation applications through approval and Notice to Proceed (NTP); respond to jurisdictional requests.Coordinate with municipalities, HOAs, boards, and community stakeholders; represent projects in meetings as needed.Direct external vendors (environmental, A&E, survey, drafting, title) to meet timeline, scope, and budget expectations.Track milestones, risks, and KPIs across multiple projects; maintain accurate documentation and reporting for senior leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.4+ years of telecommunications experience (wireless site acquisition, permitting, and/or land development preferred).Working knowledge of leasing, real estate principles, zoning regulations, and land-use processes.Ability to interpret legal/real estate/technical documents (surveys, leases, easements, deeds, title, construction drawings).Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project tracking tools.Valid driver's license, insurance, and registration; ability to travel as needed.Why Join Us:At Diamond, you'll join a team focused on delivering critical wireless infrastructure while investing in leadership development, clear processes, and collaborative execution.Comprehensive health benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision)Retirement Plans with Generous Company matchVacation DaysPersonal DaysFloating HolidaysPaid HolidaysLife InsuranceDisability Insurance & More!Diamond Communications is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
