Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator (AHP)Location: Columbus, OH 43217 (ON SITE)Pay Range: $18 - 22.50/Hr. On W2 (Depending on Experience/Interview)Duration: Contract Role (Possible Extension or Temp to Hire for Right Candidate)Work Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm ($18)2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:00pm- 11:30pm ($203rd shift Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm - 7:30am ($22.5)Job Description:Decommission Product: Entry level tasks, scanning barcodes to decommission, take the caps off, dump product.Pack Out: Fill Cartons with product, making sure labels are sterile, confirm sterilization data, run through tape machine, stack on palletFiller - Machine operator of sorts, standing (maybe sitting), observing machine, pulling empty items off, stopping if jammed, etc.REQUIRED:Ability to read, write and comprehend EnglishStand for a minimum of 8-12 hoursManual dexterity with handsAbility to work in a team environment is a mustLifting/Handing/Pushing items that will weigh on average 25lbs, can be up to 35lbs.Previous experience as assembler/production line preferredAbility to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels. Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills. Maintain appropriate attendance standards.Job duties:Stages preapproved repackaging material and equipment for production run.Assists in operating packaging equipment including minor troubleshooting and follows escalation protocol in a timely manner when minor troubleshooting efforts fail.Takes direction from management for repackaging raw material into finished product that are within packaging specifications and meet all quality standards.Takes direction from management while working alongside of Packaging Machine Operator when escalation to maintenance support is needed for a mechanical issue.Assists PMO in production room and equipment cleans/sanitationResponsible for being actively engaged in all packaging training, as well as compliance and other training required as a member of the operations team.Adheres to all cGMPs, safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.Maintains good housekeeping throughout the shift in the work areas.Works as a team member with other members of the AHP operations team to meet and/or exceed quality and production goals.Work in partnership with supporting areas, such as quality to report production/quality issues that prevent operations from achieving its goals.Performs related duties as assigned.Ability to read, write and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions. Must have good written skills for the purpose of accurately completing compliance documentation for production runs.Must possess basic mathematical skills.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others and work in a team based environment.Detail oriented.Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.The ability to identify production and quality issues in the production environment.Under direct supervision of the shift Operations Manager, is responsible for all packaging activities include equipment sanitation, preparation of packaging/product materials, and packing out of finished product for shipment.This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. It is the associate's responsibility to observe all safety rules.
