If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for procurement management and supply chain excellence, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.ResponsibilitiesLead procurement strategy for aircraft parts, engine components, tooling, consumables, and servicesEnsure suppliers meet regulatory, technical, and quality standards consistentlyOversee purchasing activities to ensure alignment with operational demand and production schedulesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery performanceNegotiate high-value contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term supplier arrangementsEnsure timely availability of critical materials to support MRO operations and customer commitmentsChampion a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and local authoritiesDirect all external repair operations for aircraft and engine components across approved vendorsEstablish and manage repair strategies that optimize turnaround time, cost, and technical complianceOversee repair order lifecycle, including vendor selection, quoting, approval, tracking, and closureEnsure repair work is performed in compliance with OEM, FAA, and EASA requirementsManage escalations related to repair delays, technical issues, or non-conformitiesDrive optimization of repair sourcing decisions (repair vs replace analysis)Develop and maintain a network of approved suppliers and repair vendorsOversee vendor qualification, performance monitoring, and periodic evaluationsConduct or oversee vendor audits in coordination with Quality AssuranceImplement corrective actions and performance improvement plans for underperforming vendorsIdentify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, material availability, and repair delaysExperience & SkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years of experience in procurement within the aviation MRO or aerospace industriesStrong knowledge of aircraft parts, engine components, and aviation repair processesProven experience managing vendor repairs, sourcing strategies, and supplier networksStrong understanding of FAA, EASA, OEM requirements, and aviation traceability standardsDemonstrated leadership experience managing procurement or supply chain teamsStrong negotiation, contract management, and commercial acumenExperience with ERP/MRO systems (e.g., AvSight or similar platforms)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to manage complex, high-pressure supply chain environments, including AOG situationsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
