Operations Manager - Night ShiftLocation: Williamson, NYSchedule: Monday - Friday | Night ShiftCompensation: $95,000-$125,000 + Annual BonusSign-On Bonus: $10,000Relocation Assistance: OfferedOur client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support night shift operations at a large-scale, 24/7 food and beverage manufacturing facility in Williamson, NY. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who is passionate about safety, quality, production performance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.This role will provide leadership across night operations with some schedule flexibility. The position is Monday through Friday, with an expected start time between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, working an 8-hour shift. The intent is for this leader to help provide coverage across both the 2-2-3 12-hour shift structure and 3rd shift operations. Flexibility for occasional weekends, holidays, or additional coverage may be needed based on business needs.About the Role: The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading manufacturing personnel, processes, materials, and equipment to ensure the site meets established goals around safety, quality, productivity, cost, service, and employee engagement. This individual will work closely with site leadership, maintenance, technical teams, and production employees to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead night shift manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules, service goals, and inventory targets are met.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site, regulatory, food safety, and quality standards.Partner with site leadership to drive performance around safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and employee engagement.Support and mentor front-line leaders while helping build a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.Use Lean, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement principles to improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and overall efficiency.Partner with maintenance and technical teams to support equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and minimal disruption to production.Manage staffing, training, performance coaching, and employee-related matters within the department.Develop standardized work, procedures, and protocols to improve consistency and team execution.Support labor relations efforts while leading within a unionized production environment.Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to process, machinery, methods, materials, and production flow.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred; ideally in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, STEM, or a related field.5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.5+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience.2+ years of experience in an Operations Management role within manufacturing.2+ years of experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, visual management, or similar continuous improvement methods.Experience with SAP preferred.Experience working in a unionized environment or supporting labor relations strongly preferred.Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate across operations, maintenance, technical, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams.What's Offered:Base salary range of $95,000-$125,000, depending on experience.$10,000 sign-on bonus.Relocation assistance.Annual performance-based bonus eligibility.Day 1 benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, parental leave, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and mileage reimbursement.
