It's a force-multiplier position with broad scope, executive visibility, and the chance to help shape how a scaling organization runs its supply chain"”from factory floor to final delivery.If you love turning complex data into clear decisions, partnering cross-functionally, and building structure where it didn't exist before, keep reading ??What You'll DoManufacturing & Contract ManufacturingAnalyze BOMs, material costs, and build configurations across multiple product linesTrack and explain PPV, spot buys, and key cost driversSupport build planning, MOQ analysis, and capacity alignment with CMsMaintain visibility into build status, material readiness, and operational riskCreate standardized reporting for CM performance, yield, and cost trendsLogistics & Cold-Chain AnalyticsAnalyze shipment data across lanes, carriers, and regions (outbound + returns)Support cold-chain performance analysis (time, temperature, exceptions, loss)Track shipping costs, transit times, and carrier performanceIdentify opportunities to reduce cost and variability without sacrificing serviceInventory & Demand PlanningMonitor inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsSupport demand forecasting inputs and supply planning assumptionsIdentify excess, obsolete, or constrained inventory risksHelp establish inventory policies, reorder logic, and planning cadenceCost, Sourcing & Supplier PerformanceBuild and maintain supplier cost models and spend visibilityTrack supplier performance (cost, delivery, responsiveness)Support sourcing decisions with data-driven insightsAssist negotiations through fact-based analysis What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months In)Leadership has clear, trusted visibility into cost, inventory, and operational driversManufacturing and logistics decisions are backed by repeatable, structured analysisPPV, inventory exposure, and shipping costs are well understood and actively managedCore supply chain reporting is simplified, standardized, and actionableYou're operating like an owner, positioning yourself for future leadership growthWhat We're Looking For5-8+ years in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or logistics analyticsStrong experience supporting technology hardware products (BOMs, materials, builds)Hands-on experience with contract manufacturers and external suppliersAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (models, pivots, structured analysis)Experience with build planning, inventory management, and cost controlComfortable in fast-moving, growth-stage environmentsStrong communicator across technical and non-technical teamsERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)Background in hardware, electronics, or electromechanical productsWilling to travel internationally up to ~15%Ability to work hybrid in Westlake Village, CANice to HaveSQL, BI tools, or data automation experiencePrior experience helping scale supply chain processesCompensation & Benefits Base Salary: $85,000 - $135,000Final compensation based on experience, skill set, role level, and locationComprehensive benefits may include health coverage and other offerings typical of a growth-stage companyInterested?Apply directly or send your resume to Katie Illam at katie.illam@
