Job Title: Sr. Business analystLocation: Austin ,TX hybrid (Local Only)Duration: 12+ months ContractInterview: VideoType: w2 onlyMust Have: Retail/E-commerce client experienceJob Description:OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support a critical enterprise transformation initiative currently in the discovery phase.This role will partner directly with senior leadership to drive requirements definition, business process mapping, and solution scenario development across multiple strategic workstreams. The engagement will directly inform executive decision-making and shape future-state technology investments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering across multiple workstreams, partnering with business and IT stakeholdersDrive and document current-state and future-state business process mappingTranslate complex stakeholder input into clear, structured documentation and actionable insightsDevelop "good / better / best" solution scenarios to support decision-making and prioritizationCollaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment across initiatives and dependenciesConsolidate inputs from multiple teams into cohesive, decision-ready deliverablesSupport discovery workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder interviewsEnsure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned to program objectives and timelinesRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within enterprise IT environmentsStrong experience in requirements elicitation and business process modellingExperience supporting ERP initiatives (SAP or similar preferred)Proven ability to operate in discovery / strategy phases of large programsExperience working across multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills with ability to translate business needs into structured outputsAbility to work independently and drive deliverables with minimal oversightExperience in retail and/or eCommerce environmentsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with platforms such as SAP and SalesforceExposure to digital transformation, modernization, or enterprise architecture initiativesExperience supporting data strategy, governance, or AI readiness efforts
