Shifts Available:1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMAbout the RoleUSPRO Talent Solutions is seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machinists to support production operations within a growing precision manufacturing environment in Farmington, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, family-oriented company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement while supporting high-quality manufacturing operations.In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and adjustment of EDM, CNC, and related machining equipment to produce precision components that meet strict quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong machining fundamentals, blueprint interpretation skills, and a proactive, team-focused mindset.With multiple shifts available and overtime opportunities, this role offers strong long-term stability, growth potential, and the chance to work in a highly collaborative manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate EDM, CNC, and related machining equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been establishedMake machine edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work order and blueprint specificationsDemonstrate strong working knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting tools, and machining applicationsPerform dimensional inspections and verify parts meet engineering drawings and quality specificationsProduce high-quality parts while meeting production and efficiency expectationsAccurately complete production paperwork including scrap tracking, labor reporting, inspection documentation, and production countsMaintain machines, tooling, and work areas in clean and organized conditionComplete operator maintenance sheets and perform basic machine upkeepAssist with training and mentoring less experienced team members as neededTake a proactive approach to identifying and resolving machining or process-related issuesCoordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals and schedulesFollow OSHA, environmental, health, and safety procedures at all timesSupport additional manufacturing and departmental objectives as neededQualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 4+ years of manufacturing experienceMinimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with CNC, EDM, CMM, or related machining equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documentationStrong understanding of machining practices, tooling, setups, and dimensional inspectionStrong organizational, communication, and prioritization skillsExperience working within Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing ERP systems such as JobBOSS or similar platformsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipPreferred Qualifications:Aerospace manufacturing experienceExperience machining tight-tolerance componentsExperience supporting high-volume or precision manufacturing operationsKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologiesMilitary machining or manufacturing experience may substitute for some requirementsEqual Opportunity StatementUSPRO is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, disability and/or other protected categories.
