Contracts Manager (Renewable Energy)

Job Summary:Maintain documents and data related to client's renewable energy portfolio as it grows to meet our 2030 carbon neutrality goalsMonitor renewable power plant performance, including outages and availabilityTrack client and counterparty compliance with key milestones and deliverables and document compliance in client's internal contract management systemsReview and validate ongoing purchase orders, invoicing and payments, as well as Renewable Energy Credit (REC) receipt and retirementAssist with routine contract tasks such as maintenance of collateral, monitoring of the energy contracts mailbox, setting up counterparties as vendors, abstraction of contract provisions, filing of project status reports, and other needs that may arise in an contract's lifecycleSupport sustainability tracking and reporting related to client's energy usage and renewable energy productionMinimum Qualifications:BA/BS degree in relevant field2+ years of job experience in a related field: contract management, paralegal work, lease accounting, project administration, etc.At least 1 year job experience with electric power purchase agreements or other energy asset management. Specific educational focus in this area can be substituted for professional experience requirement.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to navigate, edit, synthesize, update, and organize large datasets. Interview will include an Excel test.Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse colleagues in an unstructured environmentFocused, self-motivated, well organizedDemonstrated strong attention to detail.Desired Qualifications:Experience extracting, conveying, and understanding information from contractsWork experience with an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or other energy-related companyExperience with energy data, such as electricity pricing or interval meter dataUnderstanding of corporate renewable energy procurement processesAdvanced knowledge of contract management processesUnderstanding of relational database principals and data structures,
