Guided by the principles of teamwork, respect, and a commitment to excellence, NCPI empowers individuals and organizations to Experience, Expand, and Excel in their roles within public safety.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an Instructional Designer based in Richmond, VA, with opportunities for remote work. The Instructional Designer will develop and implement training materials, conduct needs analyses to identify learning requirements, design curriculum plans, create content for learning management systems, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and maintaining a learner-centered approach to instructional design and delivery.QualificationsExpertise in Needs Analysis to identify and define learning requirements.Proficiency in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development methods.Experience in Training & Development and creating engaging learning experiences.Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course technology platforms.Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.Ability to work in a hybrid environment with in-office and remote responsibilities.Bachelor's degree or higher in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field preferred.Prior experience designing public safety or community-focused learning initiatives is a plus.If you are interested in this position, please forward your résumé, a cover letter and a brief writing sample directly to .
