We are seeking an experienced Senior Bridal Designer to join our growing design team! This position reports directly to Azazie's Design Manager and will be a key voice in assisting the creative process.Please note: We are seeking talent in LA, NYC & UKResponsibilities and Duties:Reports to Creative Director/Design Manager and provides vital support to the team during the development stage.Develops high-quality bridal and special occasion designs that align with the company's brand and goals.Introduces innovative design ideas and techniques to enhance the company's offerings.Oversees product development from tech pack concept to delivery by corresponding with the sample room.Provides fitting comments to ensure proper fit and brand integrity when required.Research and integrate current market trends/inspirations/new colors.Provides extensive fabric knowledge and is able to utilize and develop into multiple fabrications.Creates and submits tech-packs for Bridal and additional categories as needed.Encourages and promotes objectives, following the development schedule, and improving workflow.Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Social, PR, and Creative departments.Supports guiding and mentoring junior designers providing feedback which includes refining their design/construction knowledge throughout the development process.Assist Design Manager with creation of product flows, storyboards, mockups, prototypes.Assist Design Manager with regular schedules projects (development cycles), Special projects (New colors, Fabric Development, New Collection Developments/Brand Collaborations, etc.)Note: These duties are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not exhaustive. The company reserves the right to modify duties and responsibilities as business needs evolve.Qualifications:Degree in Fashion DesignFive + years of evening wear/ relevant bridal design experienceMust present an online portfolio of design work, showcasing your proven track record of successfully launching products from concept to launch, detailing your role in each.
